  • Notes
    • According to "Foster Genealogy" by Pierce 1899 many of the best families of Rhode Island descended from Sarah and her husband Toleration Harris. They had 10 children including Elisa (b. Sept. 9 1791) who was a Governor of Rhode Island.

Samuel, Salem, m. 14 May 1676, Sarah "Stuard"
I beleive Sarah's maiden name is recorded wrong in this record. But, it is possible brothers Samuel and John Foster married two "Stuard" sisters.
