Notes - One of Beach P. Seely's daughters married a Archibald K. Dougherty, but we don't know which Seely daughter it was. According to this newspaper notice in The Head Quarters of Fredericton, York county on July 6, 1859:
m. St. John, 27th ult., by Rev. James Baird, Archibald K. DOUGHERTY / Miss d/o late Beach P. SEELY of Carleton.
The 1881 census lists a Margaret A. Dougherty who is a 40 year old widow living in the James McRae household in Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. So it is possible Archibald married Margaret Seely.
